Miss Universe 2013 1st runner-up, Patricia Yurena Rodriguez, was the first beauty queen to reveal her homossexuality.

"I did it naturally, as every couple that shows a picture of its partner. At this point, I believe that this subject should be dealt more normally".

"It is pathetic that I am known for being a lesbian and not for what I have achieved professionally".

Yanire Ortiz Diaz from Spain is officialy crowned Miss America Latina del Mundo 2014. 

 She took over the crown from Nicole Pinto who relinquished the title to compete in Miss World 2014.
