Miss World Brazil 2015's thorn in the side is back.
The Miss World Korea Organisation announced on their website that Jung Eun-ju has been handpicked to represent Korea at the Miss World 2015.
She was the Second runner-up at the Miss World Korea 2014. The postponement of this year's pageant was stated as the reason behind sudden selection of the candidate. There is no explanation of why the First runner-up was not chosen.
What does Miss World Brazil have to do with this? Catharina Choi, the reigning Miss World Brazil, competed against Jung Eun-ju at Miss Korea Brasil 2013 pageant.
At that time, Eun-ju was announced as the winner of Miss Korea Brazil, being dethroned some days later under fraud allegation.
It is said that the contest's judging panel had a meeting and they confirmed that they had not voted on the announced winner. In order to avoid further judicial issues, the organisation handed the title to the real winner: Catharina Choi.
Now, Catharina and Eun-ju will have to face each other again at Miss World 2015, which will be held in Sanya, China, December 19th.

Rumor has it that the Miss Korea Brasil organisation was bribed to crown its winner, no matter who the judges would choose - There is no proof for such allegation though. |
By the moment, Eun-ju has not handed back yet the crown to Catharina, as she was supposed to do. |
