Miss Universe 2013 1st runner-up, Patricia Yurena Rodriguez, was the first beauty queen to reveal her homossexuality.

"I did it naturally, as every couple that shows a picture of its partner. At this point, I believe that this subject should be dealt more normally".

"It is pathetic that I am known for being a lesbian and not for what I have achieved professionally".

Ziphozakhe Zokufa is the new Miss South Africa for Miss Universe 2014

Ziphozakhe Zokufa 1st princess of Miss South Africa 2014, officially took over the title from Rolene Strauss, who became Miss World 2014 and will not be able anymore to fulfill her duties in her country. 

 Ziphozakhe the new Miss South Africa 2014 will compete at Miss Universe 2014 in Doral Miami, USA.
